Dsquared October 21, 2009
Any “fly boy” that knows anything, knows Dsquared. Dean and Dan Caten know how to set trends and keep them fresh. They’ve perfected the bow-tie look and how it can turn a pair of jeans and a sweater into something timeless and classic. This fall, and always in my opinion, is all about layers. Grab that hoodie and put a vest over it; a t-shirt, cardigan, and wool scarf can keep those chilly breezes away.
Emporio Armani October 21, 2009
Emporio Armani, label of the Armani family, gave me something different this fall: casual looks that could be street-wear. Continuing to use the best fabrics and materials, Emporio uses the trends for fall; thick sweaters, textured fabrics, jean, and high-top boots in the collection. Even the baddest boy could get away with Armani this season.

D&G October 21, 2009

This fall Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana of D&G pretty much set the look for how men should dress for the season. Using chunky-knit sweaters, leathers for piping, gloves, bags, boots, and incorporating lots of black; this D&G ready-to-wear collection will definitely prepare the guys for what the weather brings.
Band of Outsiders October 19, 2009

This fall I discovered a new favorite for Men’s Wear: Band of Outsiders.
Band of Outsiders’ garments ooze individuality, ranging from looks that should be strictly for boating along the Maine coast, to casual tailored slacks with a matching blazer made of raw-rugged fabrics and cashmere socks.
Peep the boat shoes… Love them. Can you say, signature piece? That’s what I’m thinking. Available in different hues, heights, and materials; these boat shoes are everything.

Althhhough this is suppose to be a brand shout-out and a post for men, Outsiders has a fabulous line for women: Boy. Marisa Tomei is shown here wearing Boy and a pair of Manolo Blahnik for Band of Outsiders strap up stilettos. What I would like to see? A pair of shin-high, boat boots. Just like the one for men, only for women. I’m nervous just thinking about it!

Alexander McQueen October 19, 2009

Alexander McQueen is one of THE creative geniuses of our time, but a slept on gem. McQueen is known mostly for his womens line; however his clothing for men is stylish, edgy, and oh-so-appropriate rolled into one. For fall, McQueen focuses on the must have for the winter Camel Coat and leathers that would make a cow want to rock it. Although he is out of the ordinary, Alexander McQueen’s clothing is far from it.
